Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of ResClient.

Effective date: July 16, 2026

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ResClient ("ResClient", "we", "us", or "our"), including our website, customer support platform, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" refers to both you and the organization.

2. The Service

ResClient is a multi-tenant ticket management platform that lets organizations receive, triage, and resolve customer support requests through an agent workspace and a branded public request portal. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for promptly notifying us of any unauthorized use.

An organization's administrators are responsible for managing who has access to that organization's workspace, including inviting, changing the role of, and deactivating members.

4. Subscription plans and billing

ResClient offers a Free plan and paid subscription plans (Starter, Growth, and Enterprise), billed per organization on a monthly or yearly basis as described on our Pricing page. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.

You authorize us, or our payment processor, to charge your chosen payment method for all fees due under your selected plan. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the payment issue is resolved.

Promotional pricing, such as launch offers, applies only under the stated conditions and time window, and may be changed or withdrawn for future subscribers at any time.

5. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your organization's billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe anyone's rights, transmit malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts, interfere with the Service's operation, or resell the Service without our written consent.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of the ticket, customer, and other content your organization submits to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and consents to submit Customer Data to the Service, including data about your own customers collected through the public request portal.

8. Intellectual property

ResClient and its licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, and branding. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to reasonably use the Service.

9. Third-party integrations

The Service may let you connect third-party tools, such as Slack, Mattermost, or webhook destinations. Your use of those integrations is subject to the third party's own terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform maintenance from time to time, and features may change as the product evolves.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, including non-payment of fees, and, where practical, we will provide notice first.

12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResClient will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by email or an in-product notice, before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
