Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your data.

Effective date: July 16, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how ResClient ("ResClient", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our website and customer support platform (the "Service"). It applies to organizations that use the Service, the agents who work in it, and the end customers who submit requests through a public request portal.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, work email, password (stored hashed), and organization details you provide when signing up or being invited to a workspace.

Customer Data: tickets, messages, attachments, requester names and emails, and other content submitted by your organization's customers through the public request portal or by your agents in the workspace.

Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, and interactions with the Service, collected automatically to keep the Service secure and reliable.

Billing information: for paid plans, our payment processor collects and processes your payment card details; we retain only the billing history and metadata needed to manage your subscription.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to provide and maintain the Service, authenticate users, process payments, respond to support requests, send transactional and account-related emails, detect and prevent abuse or security incidents, and improve the Service.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information with:

Service providers who help us operate the Service, such as cloud hosting, email delivery, and payment processing providers, under contractual obligations to protect it.

Your organization's administrators and agents, who can access Customer Data submitted to that organization's workspace as part of normal support operations.

Third-party integrations you choose to connect, such as Slack, Mattermost, or webhook destinations, to the extent needed to operate that integration.

Authorities or other parties when required by law, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ResClient, our users, or others.

5. Data retention

We retain account and Customer Data for as long as your organization's subscription is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for backups, legal, and accounting purposes, or as required by your plan's data retention window. You can request deletion of your organization's data by contacting us.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and hashed credential storage, to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly from your account settings, or by contacting us at enquiry@resclient.com.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences, such as theme. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

10. International data transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice, such as by email or an in-product notice, before the changes take effect.
